Why add the Mint State 69 2017-(P) American Silver Eagle with a Liberty Bell label to your collection?
This 2017-(P) American Silver Eagle received the Mint State 69 grade from the experts at the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). It was preserved for future generations with the collectible Early Releases Liberty Bell label. The Philadelphia Branch of the U.S. Mint was founded in 1792 and continues to strike American coinage today. Each 1 oz. Silver Eagle is struck on a 1 oz., .999 fine silver planchet.
Mercanti reverse, Weinman obverse.
The reverse design for the series is just as remarkable as the obverse design. John Mercanti, a designer who is responsible for an astounding number of coin and medal designs over the late 20th Century, designed this spectacular reverse. The bald eagle is depicted behind a shield, his wings spread and his talons gripping an olive branch and a clutch of arrows. Overhead, is a triangular field of thirteen stars. The obverse features the timeless and epic Walking Liberty half dollar design by Adolph A. Weinman.
