2017-(P) Silver Eagle Struck at Philadelphia NGC MS69 Early Releases (Black Core Holder)
IN STOCK: Ready for Immediate Shipment.
Why buy this 2017-(P) American Silver Eagle in black core?
This 2017-(P) American Silver Eagle is a relatively new option for collectors of the world's favorite bullion coin, as it only became possible earlier this year to determine where Silver Eagles were struck. This one was struck from .999 fine silver at the Philadelphia Mint. Silver Eagle collectors now have the chance to collect coins from different mints every year.
Iconic Walking Liberty design by Adolph Weinman
The obverse design, which was the creation of Adolph Weinman, made its debut on the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Liberty is draped in the American flag as she carries symbols of civilian and military honors, laurel and oak branches. To the left, the morning sun emerges from beyond the horizon.
The Great Seal of the U.S. served as John Mercanti's model for the reverse design. An eagle holds arrows and an olive branch as it guards a union shield. Above the eagle's head are thirteen stars, which symbolize the original states.
Nearly perfect Mint State 69 Early with black core holder
This coin appears flawless to the naked eye but has at least one minuscule flaw, as evidenced by the Mint State 69 grade that it received from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). NGC indicates that they received the coin for grading no more than 30 days after its initial Mint release by labeling it an Early Release. The coin is set in a black core holder.
