A Pylon that reads "Boys Town" symbolizes what the organization would grown into. Inscriptions on this face include "BOYS TOWN," the dates "1917" and "2017," "LIBERTY," "SAVING CHILDREN," and "IN GOD WE TRUST."
Reverse: The reverse shows a Boys Town neighborhood in the modern-day. Here children grow up and are cared for by nurturing families before they go on to graduate from both the Boys Town program and high school. Inscriptions on this face include "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "SAVING FAMILIES," and the denomination, "HALF DOLLAR."
