Why should you add this Mint State 69 2017 Canada 1 oz. Silver Predator Series - Lynx to your collection?
Struck in 2017 by the Royal Canadian Mint, this piece of coinage stands at the second release in four-part Silver Predator Series. The series celebrates the fearsome predators in Canada and this issue features the lynx - a wild Canadian bobcat which lives throughout the boreal forest. It is struck from 1 Troy oz. of .9999 fine silver.
Featuring the wild Canadian lynx!
Depicted on the obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II created by Susanna Blunt in 2003. It has appeared on all legal tender Canadian coinage since her rise to the throne in 1953.
Featured on the reverse is a leaping lynx, backed by radial lines. This design was created by Canadian artist Emily Damstra, and is the second design in the Silver Predator coin series.
