Why add this Mint State 69 2017 Canada Silver Predator Series: Lynx to your collection?
The Silver Predator Series is a four-coin collection introduced in 2016 by the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) to celebrate the iconic predators of the Canadian wilderness. The second release of the series features the lynx, the medium-sized wild cat that ranges mostly in forest and tundra regions across Canada and into Alaska. This 2017 Lynx coin is struck from 1 Troy oz. of .9999 fine silver, measures 38 mm in diameter, and has a mintage limit of 500,000, half the mintage of the first series release featuring the cougar.

The reverse depicts the predatory lynx as it leaps forward to acquire unseen prey, accompanied by the inscriptions "CANADA," "9999," and "FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR." A micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark with "17" inscribed at its center appears below the image.
The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt in 2003. Inscribed "ELIZABETH II," "5 DOLLARS," "D.G. REGINA," and "2017."
