Detailed American designs
The obverse shows a detailed depiction of Liberty. This design is known as Walking Liberty, it was created by Adolph A. Weinman. The stars and stripes of our flag can be seen flowing around Liberty as she makes her way forward with one arm extended.
The reverse is where the silver weight and face value can be found. Since this is the standard bullion version it does not have a Mint mark. The design here was created by John Mercanti. It shows 13 stars arranged in a triangular pattern and a heraldic bald eagle.
