Elizabeth Tower obverse
Big Ben, the instantly recognizable clock tower that sits at the Northern end of the British Houses of Parliament is the image that dominates the reverse of this issue. The image of the tower instantly places one in London, at the heart of England. The image was designed by Glyn Baker and Laura Clancey. The obverse of the coin features the most recent portrait of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. It was designed by Jody Clark of the Royal Mint.
Uncirculated Brilliance and low mintage
Brilliant in this context means that the coin is lustrous and glimmering in the light. Uncirculated means simply that the coin is without evidence of handling and that the design details appear as they were intended, with no signs of wear.
