Why buy this 2 oz. Antiqued Silver (2016) (S) China High Relief Bird Lizard Medal? This High Relief (2016) (S) China 2 oz. Antiqued Silver Bird Lizard Medal is the perfect choice for collectors looking for something truly unique. It was struck at the Shanghai Mint from .999 fine silver, and its high relief design makes every detail pop. Mintage of this piece was limited to just 500 coins, making this a "must have" for collectors of rare modern coins and exonumia. Stunning Bird Lizard designThe two animals from which the coin takes its name are depicted on the obverse of the coin. In the upper left is the head of the bird, which bears a fierce look. Its eyes look into the distance intently as its threatening beak opens, preparing to snatch up its prey. In the lower left is the head of a lizard, also with its mouth open. Its scaly body rises up the rim along the right. The creatures are combined into one on the reverse, making for a frightening creature. Shown in left-side profile, the eyes and mouth of the lizard head are wide open, and the bird wings stretch forward menacingly. Perfect Mint State 70This coin earned a perfect grade of Mint State 70 from the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS).
