Why order this 2016-P 5 oz. Silver America the Beautiful Fort Moultrie Specimen?

The America the Beautiful Series has brought various scenes from the country's national parks to collectors since 2010. The series is a favorite among nature lovers, animal lovers, and patriotic collectors who enjoy seeing the geographic diversity of their country along with some iconic scenes from American history. This Fort Moultrie edition is particularly fitting for Revolutionary War buffs and collectors from South Carolina. This specimen piece is easily distinguishable from its bullion counterpart thanks to its finish and the inclusion of the "P" mint mark of the Philadelphia Mint, where it was struck from five ounces of .999 fine silver.

Patriotic Sergeant William Moultrie Design by Richard Scott and Joseph Menna

The coin's obverse bears the left-side portrait of President George Washington by John Flanagan that debuted on the quarter in 1932 and has remained there ever since. Several inscriptions join the mint mark on this face. They include but are not limited to the coin's face value, "QUARTER DOLLAR," and the national motto," IN GOD WE TRUST."

Richard Scott designed and Joseph Menna sculpted the reverse design. Scott depicts Colonial Sergeant William Jasper waving the regimental flag to warn his men that the British are about to attack. British ships known as Men of War are approaching in the distance. "FORT MOULTRIE" and "SOUTH CAROLINA" are among four inscriptions on the rim frame.
