The obverse was created by admired sculptor, Ian Rank-Broadley and features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
Depicted on the reverse is the constellation of Ursa Major, this star formation is found in the Northern hemisphere, with the seven brightest stars creating the more commonly recognizable constellation; the Big Dipper. The background is made up of purples, blues, and yellows, while below the stars a mountain range frames the image.
