Issued in 2016 by the U.S. Mint, this coin marks the 30th Anniversary of the American Silver Eagle series. The series is the most popular coin not only in the United States, but world-wide after breaking selling records with almost every release!

Designed by a Master Sculptor and a U.S. Mint Chief Engraver!

Designed by the respected Master Sculptor, Adolph A. Weinman, the obverse design originally appeared on the classic 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar with the design quickly become a much-admired piece of American coinage history.

The reverse features another talented design, created by the 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint John Mercanti. This image features a heraldic eagle clutching a branch of oak, a cluster of arrows, and holding a banner in its beak, which reads, "E PLURIBUS UNUM." Other inscriptions on the coin include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the coin's specifications.
