Why should you add this DMPL Mint State First Strike 2016-P 5 oz. Silver Theodore Roosevelt America the Beautiful Quarter with Roosevelt label to your collection?
This stunning 5 oz. America the Beautiful (ATB) quarter was struck to commemorate Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This amazing park located in North Dakota and was the famous president used to hunt bison. Struck out of .999 fine silver to a massive 3 inch diameter, this coin also boasts one of the most impressive designations for a bullion ATB quarter - the Professional Coin Grading Service's (PCGS) designation Deep Mirror Prooflike (DMPL)!
Stunning design of Teddy Roosevelt
The obverse of this massive 5 oz., 3 inch ATB quarter is the same as what you would find on a clad, 24.3mm quarter in your change. This is a design by John Flanagan of George Washington, our first president. This design was first used on the quarter back in 1932, and has been a long-standing staple of U.S. coinage ever since.
The reverse design depicts President Roosevelt mounted on a horse in his beloved hunting grounds. This well-detailed design is bordered in exergue with the inscriptions "THEODORE ROOSEVELT," "NORTH DAKOTA," E PLURIBUS UNUM," and "2016."
Graded Deep Mirror Prooflike Mint State 69 by PCGS
This stunning ATB quarter was graded by PCGS as a Mint State 69. Because of the minting process used to create these massive silver bullion coins, scratches are almost always present on the surface. Because of this, it is nearly impossible to find Mint State ATB quarters in high grades. This example even has the designation Deep Mirror Prooflike, meaning the minting process has left a reflective, mirror-like finish on the coins surface!
What better way to commemorate one of the founding figures of U.S. National Parks than this 2016-P DMPL Mint State First Strike 5 oz. Silver Theodore Roosevelt America the Beautiful Quarter with Roosevelt label
