Why Choose This PF69 UC 2015-W U.S. Marshals Service $5 Gold Proof?

In 2015, the U.S. Mint issued commemorative coins honoring the U.S. Marshals Service. These were created to mark the 225th anniversary of the U.S. Marshals Service. The $5 coin shown here has a proof finish and is 90% gold. It was struck at the West Point branch of the Mint. There were 24,959 of these minted with a Proof finish.

Impressive U.S. Marshals Design

The U.S. Marshals Service commemoratives were struck in 2015, but the actual anniversary dates of "1789" and "2014" can be found on the obverse. The date of issue is near the center within the U.S. Marshals badge. The Mint mark is also on this side of the coin.

The face value can be found on the reverse. This side features a bald eagle design. This eagle has its wings out as it holds our nation's flag. A badge is covering its chest.
