Why add this Gold $100 2015-W American Liberty High Relief to your collection

Collectors who love coins that make the most of modern minting techniques will love this cutting edge High Relief Gold 2015-W American Liberty. The piece was struck from .9999 fine gold at the West Point Mint, which is referenced by the "W" Mint mark on the reverse. This piece is part of a limited mintage of just 49,325.

Patriotic Design by Justin Kunz

Justin Kunz designed the obverse of this coin, where a young Liberty holds her torch in her right hand and the American flag in her left. Her torch burns brightly as the large flag blows gently in a breeze. She dons a toga and has a laurel wreath atop her head.

The reverse was designed by Paul Balan. He shows an eagle soaring high in the sky and carrying an olive branch. The high relief brings the exceptionally well detailed bird to life.

Flawless Mint State 70 Early Releases with Liberty Label

Graders at the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) determined that this coin was struck perfectly and lacks any flaws that are visible when it is viewed under 5x magnification. As such, they gave it their highest grade, Mint State 70. They provided the grade, as well as the coin's Early Release certification, on a label that features a closeup image of the piece.
