Why Make This MS69 DMPL First Strike 2015 5 oz. Silver America the Beautiful Kisatchie National Forest Quarter with John Mercanti Signature the Next Addition to Your Collection?
In 2015, the Kisatchie National Forest design was added to the America the Beautiful series of quarters. This 5 oz. Kisatchie quarter is made of .999 fine silver. Like other ATB quarters, the front shows a depiction of George Washington. The reverse displays the Kisatchie design. On this side, a wild turkey is shown in flight. The turkey has an impressive level of detail and it looks even better with this coin’s 3” diameter.
When this 2015 5 oz. silver ATB Kisatchie quarter was submitted to PCGS, the result was impressive. It received the grade of MS69, one of the highest grades on the scale. Since it was submitted so soon after its official release, it also has the First Strike designation. This 2015 5 oz. Kisatchie quarter has a normal finish, but it is proof like in appearance. That is why it received the DMPL designation. To top things off, the label has been signed by John Mercanti.
