2014-W Proof American Silver Eagle
PCGS PR70 DCAM First Strike (Flag Label)
Why add this 2014-W 1 oz. Proof Silver Eagle PCGS PR70 DCAM First Strike (Flag Label) to your collection?
This 2014-W 1 oz. Proof Silver Eagle provides you with the opportunity to appreciate every aspect of the design of the world’s most popular bullion coin with a mirror like proof finish. That finish, along with the perfect condition of the coin, serves to bring out each detail. The obverse design was created by Adolph Weinman and is known as the Walking Liberty. Liberty, the classic figure who has long appeared on American coinage, extends her right arm in front of her as she strides confidently against the backdrop of the setting sun. She is shown draped in the American flag as she carries branches of laurel and oak, which serve to symbolize civilian and military honors, in her left hand. Atop her head is a Phrygian cap. On the reverse is John Mercanti’s adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States. At the top of the design is an arrangement of thirteen stars. Under that is an eagle that bears a ribbon in its mouth and an olive branch and arrows in its talons. The eagle guards a thirteen-striped shield. Under the olive branch is the “W” Mint mark of the West Point Mint. The grading information is provided in a flag label.
