Sensational Curved Baseball Themed Design
The concave obverse surface features a design by Cassie McFarland which was engraved by Don Everhart. The image illustrates the interior of a baseball glove, with "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2014" inscribed in the palm.
The distinctive seam stitches of a baseball curve across the coin's domed surface. Designed and engraved by Don Everhart, the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "HALF DOLLAR" and the "S" Mint mark are cleverly incorporated into the image.
