Why Add this 2014-D & P 2-Coin Set Clad 50c Kennedy 50th Anniversary High Relief in Original Mint Packaging to your collection?
This 2014-D & P 2 Coin Set Clad 50c Kennedy 50th Anniversary High Relief consists of two coins that have the classic Kennedy half dollar designs. On the obverse is the portrait of John F. Kennedy that United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Gilroy Roberts designed shortly after Kennedy’s assassination. The obverse features Frank Gasparro’s design of an eagle guarding a shield, which he based off of the presidential seal. The designs are more vivid than regular half dollars given the high relief of these coins. The coins come in their original mint packaging. On the front of the packaging is the design of the Kennedy half dollar. The back of it includes details of the designs and a certificate of authenticity, as well as the coins’ specifications. The one difference between the two coins is in the mint mark. One has a “D” for the Denver Mint, while the other as a “P” for the one in Philadelphia. While the two coins do not contain gold or silver, they are great additions to the collections of anyone who has an affinity for the late President.
