Like other Silver Eagles, its specifications are guaranteed by the U.S. Mint. 2014 was a high mintage year for this coin and it actually set a record at the time. Patriotic designs on obverse and reverse

Adolph A. Weinman created the design found on the obverse. Here, Liberty can be seen making her way forward. She has one arm extended while she carries a bundle of branches with the other. This is the Walking Liberty design that was first used in 1916.

On the reverse, 13 stars are at the top of the design. These represent the original 13 colonies. Below them, a heraldic bald eagle is depicted. It features a high level of detail, this design was created by John Mercanti.
