2013-W West Point Silver Eagle 2-Coin Set (Original Government Packaging)
Why add this 2013-W 2-Coin West Point Silver Eagle (S40) Set in Original Mint Packaging to Your Collection?
This 2013-W 2 Coin West Point Silver Eagle (S40) Set includes two coins that offer collectors variations on a popular coin design. As with the bullion version of this coin, these two pieces feature Adolph Weinman’s Walking Liberty design on the obverse and John Mercanti’s design, which he adapted from the Great Seal of the United States, on the reverse. This finishes, though, set them apart. One of the coins is a proof, a finish that many collectors appreciate. The other one, though, is even more unique. The enhanced finish serves to accentuate every detail, making the coin even more beautiful. While the entire display is enhanced, the finish serves to make the greatest impact on bringing out the flag in which Liberty is draped on the obverse. This set would not only make a great addition to collections of Silver Eagles, but the one with the enhanced finish in particular would make this set stand out in just about any collection. Both coins contain the American Eagle standards of silver, 1 Troy oz. at a purity of .999.
