2013-W Enhanced Uncirculated Silver Eagle NGC SP70
Why Order This SP70 2013-W Enhanced Silver Eagle?
There have been several intriguing Silver Eagle sets offered by the US Mint over the years. In 2013, a 2 coin West Point set was available. One of the included coins was this 2013-W enhanced Silver Eagle. It is something of a cross between a proof and an uncirculated coin. Some parts of it have an uncirculated finish and others have either heavy or light frosting. This use of 3 finish types created a very unique and appealing look. The final mintage for this coin was only 235,689.
Liberty is depicted on the obverse. This design was originally created by Adolph A. Weinman and used for the Walking Liberty half dollar. On the reverse, a bald eagle is shown holding a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. There are also 13 stars above the eagle.
When this coin was submitted to the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, the result was excellent. It was awarded the grade of Specimen 70. This means it’s completely flawless.
