Why purchase this U.S. Mint 2013-D Five Star Generals Commemorative Half Dollar coin?
In 2013, the U.S. Mint issued a commemorative coin series in tribute to Five Star Generals and the military institution they attended, the United States Army Command and General Staff College located at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The series included a five dollar gold coin, a silver dollar and a clad half dollar, each bearing a different design.
