Why Add This MS69 2012-(S) Silver Eagle with a Trolley Label to Your Collection?

The American Silver Eagle is one of the most popular bullion coins in the world today, this series has been in production since 1986. Each one weighs 1 Troy oz. and is made of .999 fine silver. The Silver Eagle shown here has a Brilliant Uncirculated finish, it was struck at the San Francisco Mint in 2012. It does not have a Mint mark, its Mint of origin was determined by looking at the original Monster Box it was packed in.

Exquisite Patriotic Works of Art

The obverse displays Adolph A. Weinman's classic Walking Liberty design. This work of art was originally used for the half dollar. The date can be seen below Liberty's feet as she makes her way across the scene carrying a bundle of branches.

The design on the reverse is the work of John Mercanti. It shows a heraldic bald eagle with 13 stars above its head. The lower portion of the design is inscribed with the face value and silver weight.

MS69 from NGC with a Trolley Label

Since this coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint, it has a trolley label to show its grade from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. This specimen is nearly perfect, that's why it received the grade of Mint State 69.
