Why order this Mint State 70 Early Releases 2012-(S) Silver Eagle?

The popularity of the American Silver Eagle has climbed to record levels in recent years. This coin was struck in 2012 at the San Francisco Mint, but it does not have a Mint mark. In the case of the bullion Silver Eagle, this distinction can only be made by observing the original Monster Box it was packed in. The bands on the outside of the Monster Boxes indicate which branch of the Mint it came from.

Stunning classic symbolism

The design on the obverse was originally used for the half dollar in the early 1900s. It is known as Walking Liberty and it was created by Adolph A. Weinman.

On the reverse, the finely detailed work of John Mercanti can be seen. This design includes a heraldic bald eagle and 13 stars. The eagle is pictured with a shield, a banner, an olive branch, and a bundle of arrows.

2012 (S) Mint State 70 Early Releases
