Why add this 2011-P 5 oz. Silver America The Beautiful Glacier NGC SP69 to your collection?

This 2011-P 5 oz. Silver America the Beautiful Glacier is a great way to start or continue your set of collectible coins from the popular series. It’s also a perfect coin for those who love images of animals and natural scenery. Reynolds Mountain, which rises to an elevation of 9,125 feet, rises in the background high above the forest below. In the foreground, a mountain goat, one of the many animals found in the park, is depicted on a separate rock, also high above the valley. Three inscriptions, “MONTANA,” the state whose park is represented, “2011,” the year of mintage, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” (From many, one) are inscribed on the bottom half of the rim, while “GLACIER,” the name of the park, is inscribed at the top, arching over the peak of the mountain. This piece is set apart from the bullion version of the coin by its matte finish and “P” mint mark for the Philadelphia Mint on the obverse. The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) gave it the second highest available grade, SP69, which makes it an attractive option for those who are primarily concerned with being able to admire the design, as they can avoid the premium associated with coins graded SP70.
