Why buy this 5-Coin 5 oz. Silver 2010 America the Beautiful Set?

Since its debut in 2010, the America the Beautiful Series has offered stunning scenery from America's national parks, including both natural and historical designs. Each year, five new editions are released. This set is the most desirable of all because it features all five coins from the first year of the series. Not only that, but it also includes some of the best known parks represented in the entire series. Each coin was struck from five ounces of .999 fine silver.

Stunning National Park Designs

All coins in this series share a common obverse. At the center is John Flanagan's left-side portrait of President George Washington. His effigy is joined by several inscriptions, including the coin's face value, "QUARTER DOLLAR," and the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST."

The reverses feature images from America's national parks. The first issue in the series represents Arkansas and bears a fountain that is near the headquarters building of Hot Springs National Park. The Wyoming coin depicts a bison standing next to Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park. El Capitan, a vertical rock in California's Yosemite National Park is on the third coin. The fourth coin bears an image of Marble Canyon, which is located in Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park, and the fifth features Lost Lake and Mount Hood, which are located in Oregon's Mount Hood National Forest. Rim inscriptions on each piece offer the name of the national park and state represented.

Virtually Flawless MS69 DMPL FS

All five of the coins in this set earned Mint State 69 (MS69) grades from Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). To receive that grade, a coin must be perfect as seen by the naked eye. They were also certified First Strikes (FS), meaning that the grading company received them no more than 30 days after their initial mint releases, and Deep Mirror Proof-like, which means that reflections on both faces are visible from at least six inches away.
