Why Order This 2009-W Anna Harrison First Spouse Gold Proof in OGP?
When the First Spouse series made its debut in 2007, it really caught the interest of collectors. The series ran from 2007 through 2016, both gold coins and bronze medals were struck. This First Spouse gold coin was struck at the West Point Mint in 2009, it features the Anna Harrison design. Unlike other First Spouses, Anna Harrison never went to the capital to join her husband. She was delayed by her health and President Harrison passed away before she could join him there.
