This is a fresh, original set as the consecutively numbers indicate, #106 of 297. Only 7,803 of these beautiful sets were produced.

American Gold Buffalo Design

The design of the Gold Buffalo is based upon the Type I Buffalo Nickel created by James Earle Fraser in 1913. The obverse features a portrait in profile of a Native American Chief, accompanied by the inscriptions "LIBERTY," "2008" and the "W" Mint mark of the West Point Mint.
