Why add this 2008-W $5 1/10 oz. Gold Buffalo NGC PF69 UC (Exclusive Buffalo Label) to your collection?

This 2008-W 1/10 oz. Gold Buffalo is a fantastic option for those who appreciate classic numismatic designs, as well as collectors of fractional and American gold coins. The images on both faces of the coin were created by James Earle Fraser and initially appeared on the Buffalo nickel in 1913. When he designed that coin, Fraser set out to create a coin that any holder would instantly recognize as American, and this coin, like the original, achieves that goal. On the obverse is Fraser’s composite right side portrait of a Native American. The man faces the right side of the coin with a somber face. His distinct facial features are clear indicators of his heritage, while the feathers at the back of his head serve to confirm it. The West Point Mint’s “W” Mint mark is inscribed under the feathers, while the year of issue, “2008,” is inscribed on his shoulder. The animal for which the coin is named dominates the reverse, with both its head and tail just inside the edge. Inscriptions provide the face value of the coin, “$5,” and weight and purity, “1/10 OZ. .9999 FINE GOLD,” with statutory inscriptions also included. NGC provided its grade on a label that bears the image of a buffalo.
