Why add this 2008-W $25 1/2 oz. Gold Buffalo NGC MS69 (Buffalo Label) to your collection?

This stunning addition to your collection has been graded MS69 by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and has the unique Buffalo Label. This issue has a mintage of 16,908 pieces, quite low by modern standards. Most of these coins have not achieved the MS69 grade.

The obverse showcases James Earle Fraser's famous Buffalo Nickel design that was originally minted from 1913-1938. The obverse features an American Indian in profile; the reverse features the American Bison.

The American Buffalo gold bullion coins were the first .9999 fine (24-carat) gold coins to be struck at the US Mint. They are struck at the West Point, New York mint facility and each contains 1/2 oz. of gold bullion. Any numismatic collector or bullion stacker would be proud to add this trophy to their collection.

Following a review of the many numismatic offerings and sales results of the Gold Buffalo series in 2008, the US Mint determined that some streamlining was necessary and all of the Gold Buffalo West Point collectible uncirculated coins (referred to as “burnished” and featured a W Mint mark that year) were discontinued. This makes the 2008-W ½ oz. Gold Buffalo coin a single year issue.

This low mintage offering in MS69 coins is sure to be a great hit with collectors. Order yours today from ModernCoinMart while supplies last.
