Why add this 2008-W $10 1/4 oz. Proof Gold Buffalo NGC PF69 UC (Exclusive Buffalo Label) to your collection?

This 2008-W ¼ oz. Proof Gold Buffalo offers collectors who like Buffaloes an attractive proof option. At ¼ Troy oz., it is smaller and more affordable than the half ounce and full ounce options, but at 22mm in diameter, it is still large enough to be admired by most holders even without a lens. The coin features the popular designs of James Earle Fraser that first appeared on the Buffalo nickel ninety-five years before this coin was struck. One of those images is the buffalo that dominates the reverse. The massive beast stretches nearly the full horizontal diameter of the coin. Its head faces the ground, which leaves its horns pointing forward. On the ground are two sets of inscriptions, the first offering its face value, “$10,” and the second providing the coin’s weight and purity, “1/4 OZ. .9999 FINE GOLD.” Other statutory inscriptions appear elsewhere on the reverse. The obverse features a right side portrait of a Native American. The man has a somber look on his face. His long hair is tied down over his shoulder, and he has traditional feathers adorning the back of his head. On his shoulder are the year of issue, “2008,” and an “F,” representing Fraser.
