2007-W $10 Burnished Gold Eagle

This 2007 ¼ oz. burnished Gold Eagle was struck at the West Point branch of the U.S. Mint, like all burnished Gold Eagles. Like other coins from this series, it is made of 22 karat gold. The total weight of the coin is greater than ¼ Troy oz. so that the actual gold content matches the weight listed. The 2007-W $10 burnished Gold Eagle is one of only a few fractional burnished additions to the series. This coin had a final mintage of only 12,766, which is where much of its value comes from.

NGC MS69 2007 W ¼ oz. Burnished Gold Eagle

The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) was selected to grade this 2007-W $10 burnished Gold Eagle. Using their 70 point scale, this Eagle received the grade of MS69. This coin is nearly flawless and is an excellent choice to add to your collection. The grade of MS69 is very high, but more affordable than a perfect MS70.
