Why add the 2006-W Burnished Silver Eagle NGC graded Mint State 69 Early Releases to your collection?
The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) graded this 2006-W Burnished Silver Eagle the elevated collector grade of Mint State 69 and preserved it with the coveted Early Releases label. This issue has a low mintage of only 466,573!
This issue was struck to mark the 20th Anniversary of the United States Mint's wildly popular Silver Eagle series. These coins weigh 1 oz. and contain an ounce of .999 pure silver. These are legal tender silver dollars in the United States. The special "Burnished" version of the coin was struck at the West Point Branch of the mint.
The Adolph A. Weinman obverse of the coin depicts Lady Liberty walking across the landscape in the dawn of a new day. She is wrapped in the Stars and Stripes of the American Flag and carries with her symbols of strength and prosperity. The John M. Mercanti reverse depicts a magnificent Heraldic Eagle with his wings spread.
Mint State 69 coins have excellent eye appeal and lustrous, original surfaces. These coins are free from major, noticeable imperfections and offer savvy collectors a wonderful value in a collector coin.
