Conversely on the reverse of this silver commemorative is the emblem of the United States Marine Corps. It features an anchor a design of the globe, a Bale Eagle with a banner in its mouth that states “SEMPER FIDELIS,” as well as 13 stars located around the rim. The inscriptions include: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLUIBUS UNUM,” “SEMPER FIDELIS,” ONE DOLLAR,” and the Philadelphia Mint mark “P.”
