Reverse: The predatory nature of the caracal is demonstrated on the reverse, as it wrestles with its prey within the shelter of tall grasses of the savanna. The series title and denomination, "NATURA" and "R50," are boldly inscribed above, while "1/2 OZ. AU 999.9" curves discretely near the left edge of the design.
