Why Add this 2003-P First Flight S$1 Dollar NGC PF69 UC Proof 69 Ultra Cameo to Your Collection?

This 2003-P First Flight Dollar received the high grade of PF69 Ultra Cameo from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. The Wright brothers’ achievement is widely regarded as one of the most important inventions in history. It achieved something that few people through most of human history imagined was possible, which is why this coin makes for a great addition to the collections of innovators, inventors, and anyone who has a pioneering spirit or enjoys finding new, better ways to do things. The brothers are depicted wearing suits on the obverse of the coin. Their images are truncated at the chest horizontally in a way that creates space for a two-line horizontal inscription of their names, “ORVILLE & WILBUR WRIGHT.” To the left is the year of their achievement, “1903,” and to the right is the centennial anniversary year, “2003.” On the reverse is their plane, Wright Flyer I, flying above the ground. The mint mark, a “P” for the Philadelphia Mint, is inscribed on the right. This coin contains .7734 Troy oz. of .900 pure silver. Its 38.1 mm diameter ensures that it is large enough to be admired by most collectors without the need of a visual aid. If you share the pioneering spirit that inspired the Wright brothers, this coin is for you.
