LeBron James is among the greatest basketball players of all time. In high school, he was Ohio Mr. Basketball three times. He was twice National High School Player of the Year and a Parade All-American. He was also selected the Most Valuable Player of the McDonald's All-American game. Following high school, James skilled college and entered the 2003 NBA Draft.
The Cleveland Cavaliers selected James with the first overall pick. He played in Cleveland He stayed there until going to the Miami Heat in 2014, when he returned to Cleveland. He then went to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018, and he remains with that team. He has won four NBA Championships and in all four cases was named the Finals Most Valuable Player. He is an 18-time All-Star and four time league Most Valuable Player. In 2021, James was named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team. Beyond American borders, James won three Olympic medals, including golds in 2008 and 2012.
