Symbolic Olympic Themed Designs by Donna Weaver

The angular, multi-layered crystal snowflake emblem created for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games adorns the obverse, accompanied by the inscriptions "SALT LAKE," "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2002."

The reverse features a shallow Olympic cauldron ablaze with stylized flames, surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "FIVE DOLLARS," with a geometric design below representing the "rhythm of the land."

Flawless Ultra Cameo Proof 70

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) graded this gorgeous 2002-W Salt Lake City Olympics Gold Commemorative Proof coin a perfect Proof 70 (PF70).
