Why add this 2002-W $50 Platinum Eagle NGC PF70 UC Proof 70 Ultra Cameo to your collection?

This 2002-W $50 Platinum Eagle was perfectly struck and has no flaws, as evidenced by the grade of PF70 Ultra Cameo that it was given by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). It features two beautiful, patriotic designs that any American can appreciate. The design on the obverse is the same one that is used on other Platinum Eagles. It features the Statue of Liberty facing the holder. Part of her right arm can be seen extending up the left side of the coin, and the rays of her crown all reach or nearly reach the edge. The design on the reverse features an eagle about to snatch a fish from the water below. In the background are trees and a mountain. The coin consists of 1/2 Troy oz. of platinum at a purity of .9995. Struck at the West Point Mint, the mint mark of which appears above the eagle’s tail, this coin would make a great addition to collections of government platinum coins, American coins, and coins that feature scenes from nature.
