Featuring a realistic image of a snake

Depicted on the obverse is Ian Rank-Broadley's design of Queen Elizabeth II this is the fourth consecutive effigy of Her Majesty to appear on Australian legal tender since 1953.

A snake and her hatchlings are depicted on the obverse of this silver coin; they are sided by decorative borders and the Chinese symbol for snake.
