Beautiful Commemorative Designs
The American medal features a newly arrived Pilgrim family on the obverse, with a Native American Wampanoag couple demonstrating sustainable farming techniques on the reverse.
The British £2 coin is graced with the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, designed by Royal Mint sculptor Jody Clark in 2015. The reverse depicts the Mayflower at full sail, flanked by two mayflower blooms. With the exception of the Queen's effigy, American artist Chris Costello created the designs for both the medal and the coin, resulting in coordinated elements such as the mayflower blossoms and the style of the ocean's waves.
