Why Order This MS70 Final T1 and First T2 Production 2021 American Silver Eagle 2 Piece Set with Exclusive Eagle Labels?

There are many popular coins struck by the U.S. Mint each year, but the American Silver Eagle is among those at the top of the list. This series of coins began in 1986. 2021 is the 35th anniversary of the American Silver Eagle and it has also brought the first major design change of the series with the Type 2 reverse which replaced the Type 1 in mid-2021.

  • This set includes both a 2021 Type 1 Silver Eagle and a 2021 Type 2 Silver Eagle.
  • They have the same silver content as previous coins of the series containing 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
  • The Type 1 Silver Eagle is one of the final 200,000 to be produced, earning it the "Final T1 Production" pedigree.
  • The Type 2 Silver Eagle is one of the first 200,000 to be produced, earning it the "First T2 Production" pedigree.
  • These coins have been graded by NGC and also have special designations.

Walking Liberty Obverse with Classic Type 1 Reverse and New Type 2 Reverse

Obverse: The date is located on the obverse of each coin, near the lower edge of the design. Liberty is depicted here, this design is known as Walking Liberty. The sun and its rays are bright in the background as Liberty walks forward wearing the stars and stripes. The Type 2 Silver Eagle includes Adolph Weinman's artist initials.

Reverse: The reverse of the Type 1 shows a heraldic bald eagle. This design is more like what has traditionally been on U.S. coins. The reverse of the Type 2 shows an eagle landing. This design features an intricate level of detail on the eagle and the type of perspective that one may be lucky enough to find in the real world.

NGC MS70 Final T1 and First T2 Production with Exclusive Eagle Labels

These coins have exclusive eagle themed labels to show their certifications from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Both of them are free of flaws, so they received Mint State 70 grades. The Type 1 specimen was from the final 200,000 of these struck, so it received the "Final T1 Production" designation. The Type 2 was taken from the first 200,000 of these off the presses, so it received the "First T2" Production designation. Each coin has been individually encapsulated with our ModernCoinMart Exclusive Eagle themed label.
