Why should you purchase this 1999-W American Gold Eagle for your collection?

The American Silver Eagle was first introduced by the U.S. Mint in 1986. Since that first release, the coin has become one of the most popular and highly sought after gold bullion coin series in the world. It has long been valued by both stackers and collectors for both its design, which features the work of Augustus Saint-Gaudens, and also for metal content, 1 oz. of .9167 pure gold!

Featuring the work of Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Miley Busiek!

Depicted on the reverse is a full-length figure of Lady Liberty. This design was created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and was first introduced in 1907 on the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. The design features a Lady Liberty standing in front of the Capital building. She carries a lighted torch and olive branch.

The reverse features the work of Miley Busiek, with the design depicting a male eagle carrying an olive branch to his mate and their young.
