Classic 1907 Double Eagle design

The obverse portrays a magnificent Lady Liberty surrounded by fifty stars, walking ahead of a rising sun; she proudly carries an olive branch and torch of freedom in her outstretched arms, designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "1999," and "W." The reverse, designed by Miley Busiek, illustrates a splendid bald eagle holding an olive branch returning to his beautifully detailed nest.
