Why Choose This PF70 1998-P Proof Silver Eagle Today?
For as long as the American Silver Eagle has been on the market, the annual proof issue has always been quite collectible. This proof Silver Eagle was struck in 1998 at the Philadelphia Mint. The earlier proofs from Philadelphia can be a bit tricky to find, especially in top grades. The obverse of this 1998-P proof Silver Eagle shows Liberty walking with one arm outstretched while she carries a bundle of branches. The sun is shining brightly behind her. On the reverse, 13 stars are arranged above a bald eagle. 1998 was one of the lower mintage years for the proof issue, as there were only 450,728 struck.
The professionals at NGC carefully examined this coin in search of flaws, but found none. Using their 70 point grading scale, they awarded this 1998-P proof Silver Eagle the grade of PF70. The Ultra Cameo designation was given to this coin as well.
Don’t wait, order this NGC PF70 UC 1998-P proof Silver Eagle for your collection while it’s available.
