Detailed Olympic Baseball Design

The Olympic Baseball design can be seen on the obverse. This side shows a batter, a catcher, and an umpire. All of them are in their respective positions. The date is inscribed at the bottom of the design. The Olympics logo is near the word "LIBERTY."

The face value is displayed on the reverse. This design shows a map of the world with the Atlanta Summer Olympics logo at the center.

The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation was selected to grade this commemorative half dollar. No imperfections could be found on this specimen when it was examined, so it was awarded a perfect Proof 70 grade. It was also given the Ultra Cameo designation for its visual contrast.
