Why add this flawless American Gold Eagle four coin proof set struck in 1994 to your collection?

1994 represented the ninth year of release for the U.S. Mint's official gold bullion coin, the American Gold Eagle series. The Gold Eagle is minted in four weights, each denomination sharing common imagery symbolizing liberty, peace and freedom. This 1994 Gold Eagle set includes one of each of the four denominations of the series, struck at the U.S. Mint's facility in West Point from a total weight of 1.85 Troy oz. of .9167 fine gold, featuring flawless Proof finishes.

An Iconic Coin Design Revival

Designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907, each obverse portrays Lady Liberty with torch and olive branch, as struck on the $20 Gold Double Eagle, marching forward with the rays of the rising sun behind, surrounded by fifty stars. "LIBERTY" arcs above, with "1994" and "W" below the olive branch.

Reverse of each coin depicts the family of eagles scene created by Miley Busiek, featuring a gorgeous eagle grasping an olive branch in flight above his nesting mate and eaglets.

Perfectly Struck Proof 70 Ultra Cameo

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) has graded each proof in this 4-Coin 1994-W American Gold Eagle set a flawless Proof 70. The proofs are individually encapsulated in an NGC holder, earning the additional certification of Ultra Cameo (UC), for the exceptional visual contrast between the frosted and mirrored surfaces.

Don't miss this opportunity to add a perfectly graded set of 1994 American Gold Eagle Proofs to your precious metals collection!
