Classic Gold designs from then and now

The obverse design used on this collector favorite features Lady Liberty shown as she holds the Torch of Freedom overhead and an olive branch at her side. She is backlit by the dawning rays of the sun. This image was designed by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The reverse image from 1986 features artist Miley Busiek's family of nesting eagles with the male eagle overhead.

Proof 69 Ultra Cameo quality

Proof 69 coins are attractive examples that experience high collector demand. These coins have no trace of wear, exhibit full Mint luster, original surfaces and stunning eye appeal. The Ultra Cameo designation is reserved for only the highest quality proofs that exhibit the coveted contrast between the icy appearing raised design and the flat, reflective fields of the coin.
