Beautiful Design Replicating the 1907 Double Eagle by Augustus Saint-Gaudens

Surrounded by fifty stars, Lady Liberty confidently treads forward with a rising sun in the background on the obverse; olive branch and flaming torch held in her outstretched arms. The U.S. Capitol Building appears at the lower left. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY" above, "P" and "MCMXC" (1990) to the right.

The reverse features Miley Busiek's exquisitely detailed illustration of a nesting eagle family, with a magnificent bald eagle hovering in flight above with an olive branch in its talons.
