For just a little over its bullion price, you can get this specially minted Proof Gold Set at a great value!

Striking Britannia Design by Philip Nathan

All four of the coins in the set share the same designs. On the obverse is Raphael Maklouf's right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. He showed the monarch wearing her royal diadem, which she typically wears to the State Opening of Parliament. She is encircled by a pair of inscriptions. One reads, "ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D" (Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith), and the other indicates the coin's face value.

On the reverse is Philip Nathan's Britannia design, which has frequently appeared on coins in this series. Britannia stands wearing a military helmet. She balances her shield, which bears the Union Jack, with her left hand and holds her trident, a symbol of power, with her right. A strong wind blows her garment, and her powerful pose represents the nation's strength through troubled times. Rim inscriptions include "BRITANNIA," the date, "1987," and the coin's weight.

Beautifully Preserved PF66 and PF65

The four coins in this set all received either Proof 65 or Proof 66 grades from American Numismatic Association Certification Service (ANACS). That means that the coins all exhibit excellent strikes and abundant eye appeal.

Don't miss your chance to own this 1987 Gold 4-Coin Proof Britannia Set.
